OCEAN COUNTY PUMPOUT BOAT PROGRAM KICKS OFF 2019 SEASON

This Memorial Day weekend, Ocean County will officially kick off the 22nd year of its successful Pumpout Boat Program.

Since the program began in 1997, more than 83,000 recreational boats have been serviced and over 1.7 million gallons of effluent removed that could otherwise have ended up in the Barnegat Bay. This is a major step in ensuring our coastal waters remain clean.

The boats operate from Memorial Day weekend to early/mid-October and can be contacted by using VHF Radio Channel 9, or by contacting the captains directly by cell phone. The pumpout boats and contact phone numbers are listed on the 2019 rack cards by area.
