Ocean County invites residents, stakeholders, and organizations to participate in the public hearing for the development of the Five-Year Consolidated Plan and the FY 2026 Action Plan. This public hearing provides an opportunity to review and provide feedback on proposed activities, funding priorities, and strategies for engaging the community. It ensures that the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships programs effectively address community needs and support low- and moderate-income individuals.

Public Review

The draft Five-Year Consolidated Plan and the FY 2026 Action Plan will be available for public review and written comment during a 30-day comment period from March 11, 2026 - April 13, 2026 using the following methods:

Board of Commissioners Approval

The Board of Commissioners will review and approve the draft at the meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 4:00 PM.

Submission to HUD

The County plans to submit to HUD on Friday, May 15, 2026. Public feedback received during the review period will be included.
